Depends on what criteria are important to you.
without anymore info or details I wouldn’t personally buy it.

50sq m?? So about 20ft sq? So it must be a bedsit (aka ‘studio apartment’)?

well let’s just say where I live you could get a nice 3 bed house for less.

so I vote ‘not bloody likely’

No way I’d consider living in a ground floor flat in Streatham. And I lived in south London for years

Op this is I think the 3rd thread at least that you have started about this. Each time you ask different questions. Wouldn't it be easier to put all your questions together in one post?

Edited to point out that the similar threads mentioned have all been started by Op over the last 4 months or so 😬

Eh? 50 sqm is about 500 sqft. Not massive but enough for a one bed.

I think that OP has been looking at property in several areas of London. It needs people more knowledgeable about the areas to advise, so most on MN won’t be familiar with them.

Advocodo · 04/01/2026 09:49

what do I know but it seems good value to me. Is it in good condition?

TeaRoseTallulah · 04/01/2026 09:53

Sounds about right but depends on the condition etc.

I’d think twice about buying ground floor tbh

Somebody's confusing their square metres with their square feet.

😂

on top of that bedsit very different to independent studio 😂

BrentfordForever · 04/01/2026 10:59

Doesn’t sound good value OP

look for west London you can get similar (might need a bit of work )

It sounds alright, but depends which block and where near Streatham Hill. Somewhere around Leigham Court Road is likely to be a bit nicer than right on Streatham High Road or heading towards Brixton Hill.
