If you have a 2 up 2 down victorian terrace where do you keep things? Handy storage hints?

So front door straight into living room, stairs run up middle of house with large cupboard underneath, good size kitchen diner with decent "pantry" style cupboard. Where do you keep your hoover, coats, shoes, ironing board? Do you have a tumble drier? How do you optimise storage? Where is TV, on wall above fireplace or in the corner? Looking for some handy hints for making best use of a small space without over cluttering.

Is your bathroom up or downstairs?

We have a space between kitchen and (downstairs) bathroom which houses washing machine, boiler and tumble dryer. Brooms and mops in there too.

Coats and hoover in cupboard under the stairs.

There's also open space under the stairs which houses some decorative baskets, a basket housing DH's shoes and a cat scratching post. We could use it better if necessary.

We have cupboards and shelves either side of the fireplace. TV is on one of the cupboards. We also have a built in window seat as we have a bay window which gives a lot of storage.

We had everything under the stairs cupboard but there wasn't any room for a tumble dryer. They key for us was much less stuff.

We’ve just moved out of a house like this but this is where we kept the stuff:
Hoover - got a shark cordless one that folded in half so not as tall, kept under stairs
ironing board - behind bedroom door/next to wardrobe. Practical but not very aesthetic!
coats and shoes - next to front door, we had IKEA Trones wall-mounted shoe storage which are super narrow and don’t take up much space. I need a place next to the front door to take shoes off otherwise my DH will take his off somewhere weird and then not be able to find them later!
TV - in corner on top of a half-height built in cupboard that had our energy meters in.
No tumble dryer although like PP we had a space between kitchen and bathroom where we had the washing machine and we could have put one in on top (previous owners did that), we just preferred to use the space for storage and added extra shelves instead.

For us the best ways of getting extra storage were under or over other things: boxes on top of kitchen cupboards/wardrobes, a box under the sofa, ottoman bed.

Also making the most of existing storage - we had a built in double wardrobe in one bedroom that didn’t need so much hanging space so took the rail out of one of them and put shelves in instead, and put a low chest of drawers in the bottom of the one that did have the rail. In the other room we got IKEA Pax wardrobes because you can customise the interior layout for your needs.
