Advice please: should I buy a repaired PRC house in Barnes SW13

Hi there

Do anyone ever bought a house in North Barnes (close to St Pauls' School for Boys)?

Is it true that most of the properties there are PRC houses which have been repaired?

We are in the process of buying one property there, will appreciate if you can share your experience and/or thoughts.

What is "PRC"?

All I know of Barnes (as a South Londoner born and bred) is that it is a very desirable area, where houses go at a premium and I would take virtually anything I could get if I were moving there.
