It’s been almost 2 weeks since our buyers’ valuation survey and we haven’t heard a word.

I’m in Scotland. Hoping to moving to a new build in December and the builders are pressuring us to find out what is happening.

How much longer should we wait before contacting our solicitor again to see if progress is being made. I’m not sure how long the whole mortgage process takes now but it’s making me incredibly anxious.

Our buyer’s surveyor told us he’d take at least a week to write the report and send it to the buyers. They got back to us a week later (so a fortnight after). Unfortunately in our case they pulled out, but that’s another story.
