No fibre broadband and patchy 4G - any suggestions for broadband?

Is anyone else struggling in a rented property that won’t allow full fibre broadband to be connected? The only phone coverage is 4G and is very patchy. Starlink can’t be installed either. It’s very frustrating as this issue wasn’t disclosed when the rental agreement was signed. I suppose you just assume it won’t be a problem in a built up area. The property was somehow missed when fibre broadband was installed on the street and the landlords don’t want the hassle of having it done now. We can’t work from home and it’s causing many problems. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I think there might be 4G booster antennas you can get which amplify the signal.

In my place the 4G works better the higher up you go. Find out where the mast is and place the router as close in your house as possible and going through as few walls as possible.

Not sure why starlink couldn't be installed. AFAIK starlink is just an antenna that you can put up anywhere.

You can also go to Ofcom get their mobile coverage checker for your address and then see which provider has the strongest signal.

Make a fuss with the landlord. Their property is worth less without fibre, they're being idiots
