Could anyone recommend underpinning companies that might take on work in the Cambridge area? I'm in the process of buying a house in Cambridge, I've had a survey from a structural engineer, so I'll soon have a written report to give to underpinning companies, but I'm finding it so difficult to find any companies that do underpinning for houses and I need to get an idea of the cost of the work before I go ahead with the house purchase. I'm really perplexed, lots of people must have had their houses underpinned successfuly but I'm really struggling with this! Perhaps I need to wait until I get the report, to see if the structural engineer will recommend anyone, but I'm up against a tight timescale and hoping that someone might just have a recommendation. I would be extremely grateful.
