SW facing living room with pale pink couch.

I have a painter and decorator coming tonight to have a look at my living room- I want to get it painted before my new couch arrives.
I’m thinking of keeping it a warm neutral and then hopefully bringing colour in with art, a big rug and such. I’ve included a picture of the couch below, and am thinking wondering about something like F and B Joa’s White in dead flat. However I’m a bit of a newbie to decorating, so would appreciate any suggestions for you perennially tasteful MNrs!

What age/style is your house? (Ie you probably want something different in a Victorian rectory than a 1990s estate house). Which way does the room face? How much light does it get?

The pink couch will highlight any pink undertone in the paint you choose, so bear that in mind when picking warm paint colours

Thanks for replying- it’s a south-west facing room with one large window on the outer wall,
and is a 1950s semi, so a relatively well sized room with an okay height ceiling, but nothing enormous.

My front living room is painted Joa’s White with Wimborne White. It faces East but has lot of light, also through the window of the room across. On my photos it looks a bit yellow, which it really isn’t! However, I am not sure if it would go well with the colour of your sofa.
