Just that really… any experience or thoughts or cost?

I just had a new boiler fitted with Warmzilla. They use local fitters and were £1500 less than the local companies I had quotes from. The team fitting it were fantastic, the customer service was great too. I did have a small issue after fitting but the engineers came out and fixed it the next day.

Warmzilla were recommended on here, as were Boxi. I am so pleased with my new boiler and glad I went with MN recommendations.

I used Boxt when we had ours replaced, they used a local(ish) fitter and the whole experience was great. It was just after new year, I’d have never been able to find someone to do it independently without being charged a fortune imo.

I went with a great local fitter who has built a fab reputation. Cost wise was cheaper than bigger companies and at the time could fit within two days. Has been brill for quick queries too

I used Boxt!

It's a tricky one as not all BG fitters are the same as each other and neither are all local fitters.

I always use a firm local to me but I'd have no way to know how good a firm near to you would be, unless weirdly you live near me 😁

Id ask for recommendations from people I know and trust

I used a local fitter years ago, when I had a problem with the boiler (many years later) Worcester Bosch were brilliant & I now have cover with them. When I need a new boiler I'll go straight to them.

British Gas on the other hand. Wouldn't touch with a barge pole!!

British Gas definitely have a reputation for being expensive.
