After leaving the marital home with DD last July our house is now under offer and the sale is proceeding. XH is still in the house and I'm still paying half the mortgage.
I've found the perfect house if you don't mind a project, within 10 minutes walk of my parents, close to school and it has a drive! I'm hoping to hear back about my offer tomorrow but it sounds like the chain on our house is bigger than I thought. I know that when it comes to buying/selling nothing is ever straightforward but just for a minute wouldn't it be lovely if the stars had aligned!

Have hope OP! I had a woeful time getting DH out of the marital home so that it could be sold. Now 2 years post house sale (and many court dates later re: splitting the equity money..) DD and I finally have a lovely new home. Viewed it last Monday, offer was accepted on Friday and survey/mortgage stuff pending we will be in by late July or early August. The stars have aligned!

Good luck OP. Start sending good thoughts upwards and manifest it happening. I did and I'm now a month away from getting a house with all my tickboxes and boy, there were a few! I keep pinching myself 😂

Still waiting 😭I guess either they've decided to keep viewings going over the weekend or are having cold feet over the whole thing. I've been practically sitting on my hands today so I dont cave and ring the agents!
