How would you place furniture in this living room?

The placement of doors, radiator and fireplace in this room have me a bit flummoxed. Where would you place sofas and TV in this room? I'm wanting sofas for 4 adults to sit comfortably and a TV. It's the only TV in the house, but also will be the place where we relax and entertain guests

Luckily we need new sofas, so am considering 2 3 seaters or 1 three seater and armchairs or 1 three seater a window seat and an armchair?

Red is the fireplace and yellow the radiator.

Current owners have it like this, with sofas in green and TV in purple.

But I want access through the doors and feel like the TV dominates and I want to be able to sit in the bay window. Ideally, I'd put the TV where the radiator is, but not prepared to move the radiator tbh

I’d put the tv above the fire place a large 3/4 seater sofa on the wall opposite the fire place and an arm chair/cuddle chair at the bay window.
alternatively I’d remove the fireplace to give you more options

OP is the fireplace a working fireplace? Or is it chimney breast with decorative surround etc? Just wondering if not if putting the TV above it might be an option.

do you want the fireplace to be the focal point of the room? Or the TV? Or the big window?

The room above it, with the double doors, do you use that doorway much? Does the room have another entrance? And do you tend to have the double doors open or closed? Rooms that are in effect corridors (with doors on more than one side leading through to other rooms) are really tricky to get a satisfying layout.

I would mount the TV on the wall above the radiator, on one of those brackets with an extending arm so you can pull it out and angle it towards the room when you're watching it, and put it back flat when you're not.

I also have my living room sectioned off so that a sofa is parallel to the window but facing into the room, just above where your door opens into it. So the bit behind the sofa is a separate bay window area (mine has toy boxes and the play kitchen, but used to have armchairs angled towards the window).

Could you place a corner sofa in the biggest gap (that's what we did) and still have access to the doors, an arm chair in the bay window and the TV on the wall in pink, or above fireplace. Obviously arm chair purple might not be able to see the TV or it'll be bit close but for movie nights if the sofa isn't long enough just swivel the armchair a little. It's what we do! Although our sofa is big enough for just us 4.

Blue thing is a large ottoman/footstool that can be used for extra seating or as a coffee table with a tray on top of it

I have a similar layout and have mine like this. TV on the left wall on a unit and 2 sofas facing each other with a table in the middle. Botton right is another small console table and I have another unit on the wall your radiator is on.
