Anyone had any experience of this please??

Looking at having to layer up sandbags to level up turf by a pipe.

Can you add a photo or a diagram? I would think the sandbags will rot through and then all the sand will come out. Could you do use something like a tiny gabion?

Railway sleepers look better. The sandbags go green.

Pics….
The boundary line is visible, we cannot access the bags, and they seem to be fully supporting the turf as well as surrounding the pipe.

Is it sand in the bags, or earth or concrete, and how far do they go back under the grass? Dig a trench behind and fill with concrete, f you are worried it will collapse over time. Is the pipe land drains or something?

Sorry, please explain what you are trying to do?
Currently the turf stops behind the sandbags.
Do you intend to increase the height of the garden to flatten the slope?
