Just putting this out there in case anyone searches on these builders to give you an idea on our experience with them

Head builder- Vic / Viorel sfarcioc
Company name- Braveer
They are based in north west London and we had hired them to complete our full home extension and refurbishment in May 2024. The job was a big one and they estimated the completion for Jan 2025. We had 5 other quotes and theirs came in the middle. We went with them as it came through a recommendation.
They began work in May and June 2024 but then disappeared for 6 weeks in July and Aug with no real explanation to other than the builders went back to Romania.
We decided to give them benefit of the doubt as the job had only just started and we were keen to move on. But from September onwards the main builder Vic told us some disturbing things about the project manager for example him taking our money and using it on other jobs, not paying the builders at our job and that being the reason the job was delayed 6 weeks in the summer.
At that point we decided to cut out the project manager as we didn't feel we could trust him and continued on with the builder alone. However the builder also ended up taking advantage of our desire to get the house done and took more and more money without delivering or being able to explain or evidence where the money was going.
As of March 2025 we got rid of them and got in new builders. But we had spend 2/3 of the original amount quoted by the project manager but only had 1/3 of the job completed.
We also had been contacted by a previous client of theirs who warned us away too (a bit too late in our build to have made a difference but soon after this we cut ties with the builder).
They are dishonest workers and completely disorganised. They quoted timeframes that were made up and not based on any substance. For example they asked us to buy bathroom items quoting that they'd "need them soon" but actually were miles off that part of the build. We have direct evidence of them stealing money (i.e. messages telling us they have paid an invoice for our goods from their own money and we paid them back only to realise they never actually paid the invoice).
We have been completely devastated by this and want to ensure as best as we can that it does not happen to anyone else. Hence anyone who is even considering using them i STRONGLY urge you to reconsider.
