Moving to Weybridge - what to expect?

Besides the bad traffic what should I expect? I've heard it's a bit unfriendly with people letting doors slam in your face or not gesturing a thanks when you let them out at a junction. Is it an easy town to make mum friends or to socialise in general? I'm excited to move but can't deny it's with some trepidation!

If anyone lives there or nearby, are there any social clubs that you recommend or places of interest nearby?

Hello, I don’t live in Weybridge but live fairly close by and have never had a door slam in my face and only occasionally no thanks when driving!
There’s a number of cafes and restaurants in Weybridge. I can recommend the river Bourne gym in Chertsey as someone who’s just recently started going (and furthest from a gym bunny ha!)
There’s lots of local facebook groups you might find useful joining including ones called weybridge mums or something along those lines.
Not sure where you’re moving from but hopefully you’ll be happy in the area 😊
