Kitchen installation

So we had a new kitchen installed a few months ago by a small company, a few cabinets were damaged / missing so we had to wait for them to order new ones and come back to finish it off, we also said we’d like to add a crown on top of the cabinets as most shaker style kitchens have this, it was extra but we payed.
We now got a phone call to say it will cost an extra £700 to install the crown above the cabinet?!
I can understand a small charge but £700 seems a bit too steep? We’ve waited very patiently for them to come back to finish after them delaying time and time again!
were going to have to find a carpenter to fit it for us as I doubt they would charge that much as it’s not a very long run of cupboards.

Has this happened to anybody else?
