Wickes not honouring 10 year guarentee

We bought a Wickes kitchen 7 yesrs ago, and we thought with the 10 year guarentee wlthat we had quality.
However I recently contacted customer service regarding 4 cracks around our hob ,which appeared last year. They weren't interested, they said it was an installer problem. When we had it fitted, I contacted Wickes, and we used pva glue to waterproof the cut edges
Aft several emails thry are not gong to honour the worthless 10 year guarentee,
So I am now taking them to court for the £1200 spent.
I suggest you go to Wren, ,or ikea for better quality, and a more sttain resistant finish
Sheridan worktops are poor quality, and stain very easy, even if u spill tomato on it, you have to use CIF or some other abrasive cleaner to remove the stain.
Sheridan wirktops are not fit for purpose.

Did you use their installer?

I’m not convinced people would regard Wren as preferable. All mainstream kitchen manufacturers aren’t going to offer the same quality as high end.

Surely whatever kitchen you buy after seven years there will be wear and tear.?
wren have a bad reputation for their customer service, so I’m not sure they are much better all round
