Moving to goff’s oak?

Hi all, we found a dream home in goffs oak. We are trying to figure out commute into the city and seems problematic (the house is 41min walk from the cuffley station so walking is not an option). can anyone give insights into:

  1. how busy is the train line from cuffley? Can you get a seat?
  2. is it generally a reliable line?
  3. how easy it is to get parking at the station in the morning say between 7.30-8am?
thank you

Into… what city?

I’m nearby albeit a different part of the line. My advice is to try it out during rush hour one day.

A lot of people drive to Potters Bar as it’s got connections to KX and the St Pancras/London Bridge line, you’ll get parked there as there’s 3 car parks but the cheapest one fills up first.

It’s a reliable enough line in the context of the trains in this country!

We moved again fairly quickly, for us, we were not happy. It was easier to walk to Waltham X, in 30minutes and get the train. The buses are private not TfL.

Perhaps we were too young.

i do love the fact I have London buses and tube stations close to me. We moved to Woodford

The constant driving to a station and unable to park

We live close, I’d recommend driving to cheshunt.
30ms to Liverpool st. And there are some 20m trains home at the end of the day.

great place to live as long as you can accept driving to a station

Thank you all, it’s all very helpful. We suspected it may not be as straightforward!
