Applied for full mortgage application with Halifax on the 17th of march a day b4 long Easter weekend been waiting since been 9 working days, any idea how long it takes. Valuation has been done. I'm so stressed 😣

DDs took 10 working days. DS took 15.

I take it to mean that the PP has a son & daughter, both who have recently applied for mortgages and the number of days each one took are as quoted.

DS is Dear Son, DD is Dear Daughter.

I think you mean the 17th April, not 17th March. Did you use a mortgage broker who could search for the best deal and get you a mortgage in principle?

Oh yes sorry my brain lol, I meant 17th of April indeed. Yea I have applied through a broker and already have a DIP.

Have you contacted them at all ? They might be able to tell you how far along the application is in the system.

I was with London and Country and it was 3 days because I had everything ready. You need to chase this up.

I think all the bank holidays over Easter and in May, plus school holidays and people taking leave are bound to slow things up so I wouldn't stress that you haven't heard yet. Worth chasing, but delays are more likely to be just reduced staff etc than any issue with you personally.
