Sellers dragging their heels with paperwork

We sold our house at the end of February. We made an offer on a property beginning of March. Our buyers received a mortage offer weeks ago as did we. We have been away for a couple of weeks and on returning last week it has come to light that our sellers haven't yet even completed the paperwork for draft contracts yet meaning no checks have yet been done. We were told over a week ago that the paperwork is in the post. The estate agents and I have been chasing and the seller's solicitors still don't have the paperwork. I really like the house but it's slightly out of our ideal area so I have my eye out for other properties. At what point would you give up? And how often is appropriate to be 'pestering' the estate agents about this? Our buyers are fortunately quite patient but still ...

I’ve got an active thread very much along the same lines (although I think the delay is partly the ‘solicitor), we are on the cusp of giving up. We are actively looking.

It's really frustrating because most people just want to get moving when they agree a sale! Our house was on the market a year before we bought! You'd think they'd just be desperate to get moving
