As nice an area as possible.

Aigburth is nice and has a good senior school for boys called St. Margaret's.

Sorry need 3 bed minimum with space to wfh. Ideally with a bit of a garden and not somewhere where yon have to drive to everything. We’ve been looking at Wallasey Village/ New Brighton but haven’t found “the one”. We’re currently in West Derby but would ideally like a change.

Regarding liberpool south Liverpool is nice so aigburth, childwall, Woolton, halewood, lark lane, allerton. Mosley hill is lovely but not sure you might be priced out but all around those areas are nice

You won't get much in Aigburth for 260k at all. Or anywhere near a decent secondary school unfortunately. The Wirral may be a better option and I believe there are good schools as well.

Wallasey/New Brighton is a bit run down but the sea front is fabulous- lots of decent bars and some good restaurants as well.

my home town and I love it - also has single sex schools

North Liverpool is cheaper. Look around Maghull - 2 train stations. Easy to get into Liverpool city centre but close to countryside as well.
