What's tooting like?

Hello I was considering moving in tooting in the area around Furzedown because of good house prices and schools.

What are your impressions? Is it a good area?

What should I make of this?

It’s a reference to an old TV show called Citizen Smith - set in Tooting.

Furzedown is nice as it’s full of people who moved there for the school/same reasons as you. It’s not particularly interesting beyond that and a longish walk to the tube but it’s a decent place for a family to live. Tooting Broadway/Bec is busier and more interesting, has the common and tube stns, and the hospital which is handy.

Great area. Very friendly. I know a lot of people who are very happy there.
