Is Whitefield nice place to live?

I'm looking around Whitefield and have seen 3 houses up for sale on the Victoria avenue Estate behind the Beehive pub. I know if had a reputation 10 years ago but does anyone know what it is like now?

Hi, there's one on alexandra avenue (this is under offer i think), one on connought avenue and one on Cambridge Grove.
