Hi

the light to the bathroom is on the other wall so does anyone know what this could be for potentially?

The shower?

MyKingdomforaNameChange · 12/04/2025 22:29

If you have an electric shower it's possibly the on/off switch for that.

QueefQueen80s · 12/04/2025 22:29

Shower or extractor

lifemakeover · 12/04/2025 22:29

Extractor fan?

Chasingsquirrels · 12/04/2025 22:29

Extractor fan.
Shower.
Infra-red heater.

Presumably whatever it was for has been removed if you don't know.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 12/04/2025 22:30

To isolate the extractor fan?

ShakespeareInTurmoil · 12/04/2025 22:30

Shower isolator I’d have thought

Paperthin · 12/04/2025 22:31

Shower power.

DuckieDodgyHedgyPiggy · 12/04/2025 22:32

When it's off it shuts off the power to the shower, for safety ( re the electrics).

rightoguvnor · 12/04/2025 22:44

I think it’s the emergency cut off for the shower. I believe all electric showers have to have an accessible means of switching off that is outside the immediate area. Switch it off and see what happens when you put the shower on

LittleGreenDragons · 13/04/2025 00:19

Looks exactly like our shower cord. We turn it off when the shower isn't being used as it has the extracter fan linked in with it.
