Any love here for Norton St Philip?

We are considering a move to Norton SP.

I started a separate thread here recently about schooling (and getting into Bath schools) which rapidly got overtaken by (I’m paraphrasing) “don’t move to Norton” “it’s a rat run” “nothing really there”.

I’d love to hear some counterpoint. We were there the other day - granted, a beautiful day - and it all seemed quite lovely.

Are there any fans of Norton SP on here and do you recognise the criticisms?

(The primary school looked lovely (ours are not school age yet). The church mead likewise. Two pubs and a late night shop. Plus, well connected in many directions. It is just the traffic folk don’t like?)
