Hi, I saw this on Rightmove. the area looks nice. We have lived in Lewisham/Greenwich area and we know Blackheath area well, though this house is in Kidbrooke but not far from Blackheath. We want to start a family and are looking for a 3 bed in SE. Is this property in a good location, in terms of schools, nurseries, etc- from my research, it's not too bad but would like to hear from people who have lived or are living near the area. We both work in central London so commute is better from here. Parking looks a 'mare. It's a narrow street , there's a dead end/ cul de sac and the house is where there's no road bit.
Add to that the playing field and a school nearby.

Might not be a worry to you if you don't drive but think of resale /visitors/deliveries

It is a nice house but on the 'wrong' side of the Sun-in-the-Sands roundabout. There is a greater choice of schools on the Blackheath side of the roundabout or towards Chistlehurst or Bromley.

I am not sure about nurseries but Google Maps seems to suggest a few nearby. How are you and dh getting to work? You'd want a nursery that is convenient for drop off and pick up.

Thomas Tallis in Kidbrooke is a good secondary school that is close by.

I don't live close enough to the specific road to be more helpful but someone else may come along.
