Bathroom help - vanity unit colour

Hi

Just bought a house and first job is the bathroom. I'm planning putting oak effect LVT through the house including the bathroom, but not sure what colour vanity units will go. I like the anthracite grey ones but not sure if it will clash. Opinions/experience of what goes with wood effect floors in a bathroom welcome. Thanks!

We went through this, thinking about the same colour. We chose a white vanity unit and had a country oak LVT (was meant to be distressed oak but there was a last minute supplier issue). We've got ivory walls and stone coloured tiles (about a third of room). The benefit is that it looks fresh, very neutral as will go with any choice of accessories and doesn't show the water and toothpaste marks that everyone seems to drip down the front. The negative is that it it's very samey in terms of colour all over.

We have just put in similar flooring. I think anything goes but we went for a green vanity unit

We used anthracite grey units in our very small bathroom with lots of white for brightness. The unit and bath colour is dark and looks almost black in this photo but it’s definitely grey. Our flooring is tiled but similar colour to what you’re saying so might be of interest.

PS Photo taken before I added all my guff to the room of course!

I can't think of anything that wouldn't go with an oak look floor!

I've gone with an oak effect vanity with a sort of ridged/fluted texture

we Have oak effect LVT with anthracite wall radiators in our new family room and it goes very well.
