Where to buy Dulux paint samples now Homebase has gone?

As per the title really, where can I buy the little Dulux sample pots now that Homebase has closed down? I looked on Dulux's own website and you have to pay £1.50 delivery each time. Not much I know, but I spend ages going back and forth trying to work out the right colour each time I decorate, so irrationally I REALLY resent paying £1.50 each time! Especially as I usually end up spending a small fortune on sample pots anyway! Does anyone know any high street stockists that stock a wide range of the sample pots, or anywhere offering click and collect or free delivery? I've already checked B&Q, Screwfix & Wickes, and none of them have the colour I want. TIA!

I didn't know that Homebase has closed. That's really sad. Sorry for completely missing the point of your thread! I was going to say B&Q but I see that they don't have the colour you want. Can you just order several colours at the same time and just pay one delivery charge or use the swatches they have to make your decisions?

I don't know about samples, but you could try calling these.

Have you checked if there is a dulux colour centre near you?

Brewers have dulux.

We you looked for a local, independent paint shop?
Can you find the colour in another brand that has cheaper samples?

Our large B&M that has a decorating department sells the sample pots

B&Q, Wickes or Amazon

Dulux decorator centre will mix you one to any colour but they are more expensive and larger than the ones you order online. I would go and get the sample cards from the colours you think will work from a Dulux decorator centre and then thin down the options to less than five and then order them online.

What @Darkclothes said. Dulux decorator centre would be my first call, or failing that Brewers if there’s one closer. Am off in a moment to get some tester pots now from them, they said they mix them in store so should be able to help.

PaintDecisions · 02/04/2025 11:32

I've bought them in B&M recently.

B&Q
The Range

I would not buy Dulux paint again. Its overated & over priced. We have painted our rooms. In the following brands Dulux,Crown, crafted,Fallow & ball, Dunelm, wikio,Bathroom in Wickes Tough & washable in frosted white. Its a lovely paint,we used only one tin for a large Bathroom,I would rate it 10/10.We wished we found this paint when we started decorating! Wickes have great testers all at reasonable prices.

jackiesgirl · 02/04/2025 11:56

I got some recently from The Range

LucieLuu · 02/04/2025 14:25

Thank you all for your suggestions, with the Dulux trade centre and Brewers nearest to me you have to get samples mixed up specially, rather than them just selling the little sample pots so it works out even more expensive! But The Range is a good shout- thank you all so much!
