Woodlouse in bedroom all of a sudden

Hi everyone,

I moved into my new home (bungalow) at the start of the year and recently noticed woodlouse in my spare bedroom. It’s usually one every couple of days. The rest of the house is fine.

I know they like damp spaces and there was a radiator leak previously but it’s been fixed now. The room has french doors which are very old with condensation and need replacing but I can’t afford it at the minute and I also keep my heated airer in there (no where else to put it and my kitchen is too small to fit a tumble dryer). I do have a dehumidifier but there will probably always be some form of damp in that room.

It’s carpeted with concrete underneath not floorboards luckily. I don’t mind them as they’re harmless but should I be worried? Are they eating my house lol???

They aren’t eating your house. The odd one will be getting through the French doors I imagine. Not anything to worry about.
