Minimum internal door width (Scotland)

We're getting a partial garage conversion, basically creating a room to house a washing machine and drying racks. We're knocking through the hallway into the garage. The plan was to have a 800mm wide door but we've now realised that the soil pipe from the upstairs bathroom would be in the way a bit, so the door won't be able to open the full 90 degrees. It's not possible to reroute this pipe.

Do you know the minimum width this door can be? I'm wondering if Scottish building regs allow for a bit of lenience when it's not practicable to have a 800 wide door. I've had a Google but am none the wiser as I don't understand all the lingo.

Thanks

I don’t know about Scottish regs, but would a sliding or pocket door solve the problem?

Unfortunately there's not enough room but good idea.
