Aside from Quooker, I believe Qettle is the only other one with genuinely boiling water (which IMO is necessary for good tea).

(i may be out of date though)

We’ e got a Quooker, so probably no help to you.

Another no help but I love my Quooker very much. It's ancient, over 12 years old, we've had it serviced precisely once, and it's given us nothing but joy.

Other brands are available but you want BOILING, not hot, which my MIL's plumber talked her into and is completely useless.

I also love my Quooker… sorry!

Just so you might get good advice why not a Quooker? Is it the cost?

I originally had a "hot water tap" so about 96 degrees and I had that for about 7 years . It was replaced with a waste disposal unit button as I had a hole in the worktop as it was a separate tap. And you can see where this is going my tap was replaced with a Quooker. Absolutely love it. I have had it 4 years.

We just have it provide boiling water and the thing I love the most is being able to run the cold tap, add the boiling water element for a very hot water combination for washing out a pan without having to run the normal hot water tap for ages. It can also provide a higher cold water ratio so that the water isn't quite hand hot. It all depends on how much cold you add to it.

We installed it ourselves, there are videos on youtube.

We’ve got a qooker, it’s great and makes fab tea. I’m a tea snob.

Iknowaboutpopular · 21/03/2025 17:56

Quooker here too. Love mine.

@Mustardmummy23 I've got a qettle and absolutely love it! No regrets at all about getting it.
