To paint or not to paint?

Hello,

We recently had our bathroom renovated, and now I’m stuck with the dilemma to paint or not to paint!

It’s currently painted plain white, same as the ceilings. I don’t mind it, but the rest of our house is quite colourful and sometimes the white looks rather plain by comparison.

Let me know if you think I should paint it, and if so, what colour! I want it to feel cosy and not cold / sterile. Also, our hallway is green paneling if that helps.

edit: I should also add that the bathroom is very small! (1.80m x 2.30m)

A gentle sage-ish green.

Lovely bathroom OP this is a piece of me!

My instinct would be to take one of the darker colours from the terrazzo and go bold - like a dark terracotta or even dark grey/black like f&b railings. But you'd probably need to take it onto the ceiling for a good effect and depends how brave you're feeling!

I think either go bold or keep it white but a softer colour would be a bit 'meh' (sorry PP!)

If you keep it white you could get brighter bolder artwork, and a big one for that wall next to the loo, and more of a statement blind too, which would all inject a bit more colour.

I’d leave it white. It looks so lovely and fresh and clean. But I’m a big fan of neutral!
