How to make a bathroom look high end?

I'm struggling to make my new bathroom look 'high end' & 'finished'. We've only just had it completely re-done after living with a horrible leaking bathroom for over 10 years (didn't leak all that time!).

It's fully tiled in white metro tiles, light grey grout with a white bath, basin, toilet & separate shower cubicle. Floor is light grey lvt.

It's got a light up mirrored cabinet & a white towel radiator.

I really like everything we've got in there but I'm struggling to see what else we need to 'pull it together' as it doesn't look properly finished.

What colour towels would look good? Anything else we can add as it just looks so barren & unfinished?

A plant?
Do you have plenty of down lights to make it bright?
A curtain?

Maybe its already too busy and that is the problem. Metro tiles are small, with a great deal of grout and can look very busy. If the entire bathroom is done on them, maybe it looks overwhelming on the eye? We recently renovated and thought grey and metro tiles were already on their way out then. We went with very large tiles and no grey, but its obviously a personal choice. You obviously love the look which is all that matters.

I really dislike indoor plants ( yes I'm weird ) but a gorgeous trailing Devils Ivy on a high surface will look lovely .

I'd put emerald/dark green as accent and white towels which ( if you wash them on their own and keep them pristine ) always look high end .

Fluffy bath rug in a rich colour. John Lewis good for these. Planter in natural materials.

Its hard to say about high end, as much of that comes from the fixtures and fittings in a bathroom IMO
I think colour and accessories pull things together though.
Are there no paintable walls?
Can you put prints up?
Plants, towels, soap and shower gel dispensers.

Pick an accent colour for towels etc - hot pink, emerald green, teal blue, rich navy blue, even orange all look great with grey. Then a plant/fake plant in a pot which picks out your chosen colour, a (cheap) print for the wall which has flashes of your chosen accent in it, and take your time to find the right toothbrush mug or other accessories

We have these for tooth mugs as they are hand made so no two are identical and the colours are gorgeous

@70isaLimitNotaTarget You are not weird! I also hate indoor plants, particularly in bathrooms/loos/kitchens. Don’t know why ..think its the soil.

OP - what about things like display perfume bottles ( filled with coloured liquids if empty and transparent?) Nice hand lotion dispensers

Nice bright rugs.

Prints on one wall?
