Social Housing Application - wait times

Hey,

Just wondered how long after people filled out their social housing applications for council housing did they get the email to say they were on the list?
We live in RBWM if there is anyone in the area that can give their experience (or any area really)

think that will really vary by area and the volume of applications they receive. I applied about 2.5 years ago so can't recall exactly how long, but it was a good few weeks after. It took even longer for them to confirm my banding after that.

Ah I see, I've tried calling a few times since to see if there is anything I can do or anything else they may need from me but they just tell me I have to wait.

I can imagine the wait will be long but just worried that it's taking a while to look at my application.

It has now been 9 weeks.

I'm naturally a worrier so it's going to plague me until I hear something I think 🤣
