Bathroom Extractor Light

We have an extractor fan / light combo that replacing as it isn’t doing a great job and sometimes squeals when we turn it on.

Any recommendations as to what we should be looking for? We shower every morning x 3 of us then leave for work / school so it needs to extract as much as possible whilst we are in the bathroom.

Also needs to be a light fitting.

Bathroom is 3m x 2.5m

Thanks

DH always fitted Xpelair or Inline ones, get one with a longer timer so the extractor carries on longer, get separate on/off switches for light and extractor. Electrician should be able to advise you.

Thank you, that is really helpful.

I wouldn't get one connected to the light, better to have it on a separate electrical isolator switch. Try a fan with a humidistat, so it runs until the humidity has dropped, rather than just for a set time.
