Completion day worries !

We are due to complete on Friday . We have not booked packing services . I packed almost the whole house except basic kitchen things in various boxes .
Most are cardboard boxes but some are plastic containers like trofast for example or ikea bags with shoes and under the bed storage boxes . Is that ok?
Do we need to bring boxes from the loft down ? Or will they do it ?
What do we do on the day so we help or stay out of their way ?

I would get your loft contents down yourselves. We had full packing service (worth every penny) the last time we moved but had to do the loft ourselves.

I'd do the loft, but I also moved as much from downstairs as I could into my entrance hall. Yes there was the service I had paid for, but I also wanted it all loaded onto the lorries as quickly as possible so did as much as I could in advance to make it as easy as possible. As it was the lorries were still only clear of the house for 10 minutes before completion.

@ForRealCat yes this is what i am thinking i cant believe they can load the whole house in just half a day ! I packed everything but there are big items i cant pack (i.e ladder etc) i cant put them all in the hallway as is tiny i was thinking loading the garage up with boxes ? Would that be easier ?

I'd give them a call, but I would think that that is fine. Just make sure they can get to stuff- they usually have a good plan of how stuff fits into a lorry, so dont block big bits of furniture behind piles of stuff. The ladders and things are fine

Yes standard practice when moving - pile the garage high with boxes so you can see what is left to pack in the house. The removal people will then very quickly empty the garage on moving day.
