I need to pick my new kitchen asap but I’m struggling with colours.
I would like marble countertops, white or very light grey tiles and possibly cream cupboards although I’m willing to change my mind on these.
I haven’t a clue about the wall colour which is driving me insane. If I pick a colour for the walls I may then wish I went for the colour on the cupboards instead, but I don’t want something that will outdate and need replacing in 5 years.
One side of me says go for pale pink, the other side says neutral walls and coloured cupboards.
In other rooms in the house I have grey, navy blue, beige, white and sage green. I don’t want to use the same colours again as I like each room having its own feel and personal touches.
if anyone could help I’ll really appreciate it as you can see I’m stressing and overthinking 🤣

My best recommendation for wall colour is Dulux Heritage, - and get one of their big colour wheels - https://www.duluxheritage.co.uk/en/products/details/dulux-heritage-fandeck

The colours on the deck are exactly the same as when the paint goes up (unlike brands such as Farrow & Ball etc).

I would avoid marble worktops as marble is a porous stone and will stain. Granite is a better option, (if you want stone) - and there are many options beyond the usual black or white (though obviously more expensive).

I know what you mean about grey / navy / beige / sage, but beware of strong and unusual colours (I've had a disaster yellow room that had to be immediately repainted). You can't go wrong with Dulux Heritage.

Highly recommend Dulux Heritage Green Marl. It looks like beige online, but it's the most wonderful subtle green ever.

I've had years of paint colour indecision. Farrow & Ball, Little Green, Paint and Paper Library, etc... Resulting in a fortune in tester pots that looked nothing like the chart, and wrong colour choices because I thought I had to use the posh paint colours.

From now on it's going to be Dulux Heritage. And no need for a tester pot.

I wouldn’t have tiles either. Grouting to clean is a pain. There are much better options these days for splashbacks etc. There’s a paint you can get now, that’s very expensive, but as durable and hard wearing as tiles. I think Brewers do it. £75 a can, but cheaper than tiles and easily changeable.
