Selling in (East London)

We're about to go on the market and the various posts on here about people waiting months for an offer are making me nervous!

Anyone fancy a thread for homes that are (hopefully!) shifting a bit faster?

Very keen to hear experience of how quickly you got viewings/offers, especially if you're in East London 🙏

Where we are, the approach still seems to be to have an open house (which works for me as less tidying!) so keeping our fingers crossed we get some offers from that

My next-door neighbour just sold their house in E9 over the weekend with an open house and multiple bids, so it looks like the market there is really fast-moving!

Similar to the above, my friend went on the market last week in E17 and has a whole day of viewings this coming Saturday- I think 15 in total? The agent expects multiple offers.

E17 is selling slowly at the moment. I've had my CD single of Stay Another Day on Facebook marketplace for ages and nobody is interested. I might drop the price. Hope this helps.

Edited

That is exactly that I wanted to hear, thank you!

What are you selling? I think this will depend very much on the type of property you are selling and the price point (market you are targeting).

Family house in the £1-1.2m bracket which the SMEs Tate agent assures us there are lots of buyers for

(We've lived here quite a while and it wasn't worth anywhere near that then we bought it so my mind boggles a bit but there we are!)
