‘Possible lintel failure’ on survey-who do we need?

Moved into a house recently and starting renovation.

The survey said ‘possible lintel failure’ of a double fronted bay.

Can’t see much evidence of this myself, but how should we proceed? Who can advise us? Structural engineer? And if it needs doing who replaces lintels?

I think a builder? A lintel is just a piece of wood or concrete that goes across the top of something to support the structure. You might need building regs to replace but I'd personally try to get the opinion of a good builder

We just got a lintel replaced as we converted a door into a bigger window. A bricklayer changed it for us , the lintel and work for it was around £300 extra or less
