Hive App - not seeing homescreen

Help! anyone experienced who can tell me what I need to do?

so plumber been today and new boiler, hive hub, mini thermostat etc. hive is with green light on alll time now.

but bloody app has been a pain all afternoon, plumber didn’t leave till 7 pm and I’m not able to use App. He told me it’ll sort itself out after few hours as hub is updating.
6 hours in and app is same. It just shows “thermostat 1 “ and a whirling circle and the bars flashing (see pics).
om devices it shows the next pic- weirdly it has both receiver and thermostat showing as thermostat 1 , though on details it shows the bottom one as thermostat stat 2 as named- can’t change name. Not sure if that’s an issue

im pissed off- got my heating back after 3 days but now am stuck with no scheduling ability …I’ll have to have it running all night to be warm in morning 🤬. Plumber says he’ll come tomorrow pm but I’m not convinced he knows given he said it would all magically sept itself out in a few hours.

any genius here that can help me in meantime so I don’t roast all night or freeze in morning! Depending on what I manually set the mini thermostat too.

I could be wrong... I don't think you actually need the app to use the hive. You can just program the thermostat itself. The app just lets you control the thermostat remotely I think. So if you go to your actual thermostat and press any of the buttons or the middle wheel, it should wake up and you can access the menu for the heating and programme it.

Hi, mine is mini thermostat- no programming on it, just switch between on/odd/ schedule - it picks schedule up from the app

There is a good Hive facebook group which will probably have the answer, have a search on it. You might need to call the Hive helpline.
