Anyone got a semi flush light with a ceiling rose?

We have a plaster ceiling rose. CBA to get rid because then we'd have to replaster the ceiling. But the room is dark. I think a semi flush light will give off the most light. Maybe something like this? But will it look weird with a 1930s style ceiling rose? I kind of think it will. If so any other ideas for maximum light?

beware of integrated LED lights, once the LEDs decide enough is enough and they fail, then you will have to replace the complete fitting.

Whatever you go for, recommend the multiple replaceable bulbs option.
