Fitting Ikea Pax into Existing Wardrobe

As the title we have two bedrooms with built in wardrobes in good condition but the interiors make poor use of the space.

In DD's room, its the only storage so would like to fit some drawers baskets etc to store her clothes and toys, stationary etc.

Just looking on the website and I cant make any sense of it, Im really inexperienced at DYI so if anyone has any tips, Id be grateful.

We used Pinterest IKEA Pax hacks for ideas and DIY tips to replace the original shelves in one of our built-in wardrobes.

Thank you :)

Silly question but did you just measure the interior then measure what would fit inside? Will have a look on Pinterest now ....

I just bought the Jonaxel wire drawers.

It really depends on the measurements of your existing wardrobe as to how possible fitting pax components is. My doors didn't open to allow the pull outs so Jonaxel was easier to position. Good sturdy drawers and I got one with a rail to split the space. Much improved.

That's what we did. We bought a frame that was close to the width of our built-in wadrobe, shortened it and then slotted the assembled frame in.

We used the Boaxel system from Ikea, which really upgraded the space and is adaptable too.
