Changing a kitchen tap help!

Are fittings universal? Tap needs replaced and a like for like tap will be expensive. It’s a kitchen mixer tap. Can I easily fit a new one? Looks to be flexi pipe and nuts under the sink (newish kitchen). Can I do it myself?

Any advice or should I just get a plumber?

Watch some YouTube videos. There are plenty of women who’ve had a go and managed no problem.
I’d be scared of making it worse (&more costly in the long run!) but I’m totally cack handed!

There are different width flexi cables but unless your tap is ancient it will be one of a few sizes. DIY shops have a whole range with cross sizes and adaptors.

Just measure the size and it really is easy - all you need is to turn off the water and have the right spanner.

Definitely look at YouTube videos. I replaced our one no problem but I did need to buy the correct tube spanner thing which I got in B&M fairly cheaply.
