Hello, our very considerate and lovely neighbours have asked if they could put the extractor fan vent on their side wall that faces directly into our courtyard and opposite our back door. They want us to consider this carefully and said that we’d get their cooking smells and they feel embarrassed to ask but sounds like they don’t have another option. The courtyard isn’t our only garden area and we use this to pass through and store our bins in. But our kitchen and two windows runs along this courtyard and so opposite their side wall.
I don’t want to be obstructive at all but also don’t want to be noticeably affected by this.
Could this become a real annoyance for us?
