Outdoor tap

Hello, does anyone have any advice/experience on getting an outdoor tap?

We have a utility room on the ground floor (kitchen upstairs) but it's separated from the back of the house by another small room.

Is it possible to get a water supply out from there? We're in a terrace so no side walls.

I don't want to get plumbers involved before I have a better idea of what to expect..

It’s a case of spur off the cold feed pipe, drill hole in wall, install tap in the other side.

Less than a couple hours work.
