Sofa quest!

Posted on chat by accident and no replies. Hoping someone on here can help!

Looking for a new sofa and looking for recommendations of good quality ones that won't look rubbish too quickly but fairly priced. Our current one was from sofa.com and the cushions folded and flattened within a the first few months.

It needs to be mid century style, with wooden legs and preferably a chaise. I've seen some on John Lewis and Swoon but can anyone recommend? We have young DC so it needs to be durable (able to double as a trampoline sometimes).

Our Ikea sofa is nearly 10 years old and still going strong! I'm about to recover it... It's the Soderhamn one, which may or may not meet your mid-century vibe requirements. We replaced the ugly metal legs with wooden ones (very easy and relatively cheap to do).

I was in DFS a while ago an they had a couple of mid-centuryish ones. Not sure about quality though (but very reasonably priced)

But I do feel your pain, btw. One of the reasons we're just going to recover the Ikea one is that I couldn't find another one that I liked enough to be worth the price, wasn't crazy expensive and that also had good reviews. It seems that unless you go higher end, then sofas are mostly a bit crap these days.

I think Next ones get good reviews, but I couldn't find one there that I liked enough to buy...
