Hi, our front door is broken, doesn't open and we have been quoted £500 to fix it. It looks knackered as well. We are looking to move in two years.

We have been quoted for the following for a a front door, side panel and top panel.

Solidor £2110 + vat
Doorstop £1720 + vat

Like for like nearly in design.
Based within m25, outskirts of Essex
Which make would you choose? are these quotes on par do you think?

Happy with trader as know a few people who have used. Not gotten any other quotes yet.

I had a door and side panel fitted for 2300 end of last year in south east. Not sure on the make but we've used the company previously.

Thank you. Was that with vat?

I got "wedodoors" to do our back door (with microchip catflap) and I'm happy with it. There was an issue with the lock after a month, but they sent someone out to sort it and it's working fine now so can confirm they follow through with after-sales care. They were nearly half the price of my local double glazing company. 😬

I'm based in Cheshire but I think they're nationwide?

Here is my nice new front door- got from solidor and fitted by local builder. Can’t remember exactly how much, but no more than £1500 I’m sure all in.

Apologies, not sure how I managed to attach all the other pics. they’re not related but I can’t seem to get rid of them so ignore them!

I paid about £1.5k 5 years ago for a door and side panels with a local company. It was gorgeous. Ask for recommendations.
