Right to manage query

Hi MNetters ! We live in a London flat in a development which is switching to Right to manage. A couple of people have stepped up to be directors of the Right to manage-we have concerns about one of them-they are incredibly rude when things don’t go their way, have bullied other residents who were hesitant about the switch and we are apprehensive about them being directors. Nobody else (including us) has stepped up and we are concerned that this gentleman may mismanage. My query is-can anything be done if we feel that this director is mismanaging ? Can we block somebody from
being director ? What happens if nobody else steps up ?

Very new to Right to manage and not sure how these things would play out…

If you are worried, you need to be a director and then you can vote him out if he causes issues. If you arent prepared to get involved then I suspect it will be much harder to get rid of him as a director as you will probably need to get a large number of the other residents to back you (over 50%) rather than one other director.
