Independent agent or larger one

Hello, am currently on with a fairly large local agent. It's not a chain but they are pretty big in my area.
My contact there has been pretty poor. They've not done things I've asked and don't seem to be very proactive.
I know it's not a great time to be selling and am hoping that things will pick up come March. However, I am considering changing agent. I get the feeling that my agent is over stretched and that's why they aren't very responsive.
Just wondering if people have had better experiences with larger chains or with independent agents. I'm wondering of independents will be more motivated to sell??

If I was starting again, I would go for a small independent rather than a larger local with multiple offices or a large national. I think ours is too overworked and just constantly rushing and firefighting. It's hard to get proper answers and we feel like we are being a pain every time we ask them to chase the chain for us. They also overpriced to win our listing and then we ended up having to reduce to find the sweet spot. We did chat to a smaller agent part way through when we were thinking of switching and if I was doing this again, I'd go with the smaller agent from the start. They priced lower but had a good reputation in the area.

This is what I'm thinking. Feel I'm constantly chasing the larger agent and I agree it feels like they are fire fighting

Small independent who knows your house well, rather then the bigger one, who has several staff, none of whom know your house sufficiently.
