Post while porch is being done?

Am having porch built which - for complicated door reasons - means I'll be without a letterbox for 9/10 weeks. No space to put up a wall mounted one and don't want RM to hold onto my post for the whole time. Builders not around on weekends and wondered what happens to my letters if I'm out on the weekends and they can't post? No safe space for them to leave it, either.

(Not worried about parcels, just actual letters.)

-Set up a redirection, either to a PO box at a post office where you collect post from or
-Pay for redirection to either a neighbour, friend or family member
-We recently renovated and had temporary fencing all around. Could you install a post and attach a lockable post box on that? or install it on a fence/gate at the front of the property?

You can pay a small fee for your post to be held at the PO and then collect it
when convenient

Get it redirected. How big is this porch going to be if it takes 9 to 10 weeks to build?!

I wondered this too! Maybe that are only putting in 3 bricks a week? 😄

It's a three bed semi, not the Taj Mahal 😂They're pulling down an old one that was done badly, digging new footings, sorting a dodgy drain and then building and decorating a new one. There are a few peripheral things that need sorting in that time while we have a door with no letterbox so the actual new door will be a while. I'm pregnant so if they did three bricks a week we may have bigger problems than post...!

I'll ask about a PO Box today. Thanks everyone.
