Oil Combi boiler question

We recently moved to a house in a village without gas and had an oil central heating system put in, with an external combi boiler. It's been fine but today there has been a flashing warning symbol on the thermostat. I've tried turning it off and on again (!) and changing the batteries but it's still there. Anyone know what it could be?

I can't help with the code, but if there anything in any manuals that were left with you or try searching online for codes showing on that particular thermostat. Either way, if it's been recently installed, I'd contact the installer. Something might need tweaking and if it's anything worse that that, it should be under guarantee.

Thank you, I didn't make the connection earlier (sleep deprived!) but we had a smart meter fitted today, could that be disrupting the signal between the thermostat and the boiler do you think? It seems too much of a coincidence that it's gone wrong on the same day.
