Good bathroom supply companies

Hi, has anyone refitted their bathroom in the last 5 years and can recommend high quality fittings/ furniture / tapware etc please? Lots of ones I have seen only have eg a 3 year guarantee. I want this bathroom to last us 15 years as it's a big investment.

My bathroom fitter has recommended somewhere but I've read some bad reviews (and not many good ones). They're not cheap either.

I didn't use any one company, I bought a range of good quality products from various sources.

Eg, Mira shower tray and cubicle. Roper Rhodes hooks, towel and loo roll holders. Grohe tap. (The basin, vanity unit and mirrored wall cupboard were from Bath Store, so no good to you now, but still look good 14 years later.) Tiles from local supplier.

Mostly bought on line - Screwfix, Plumbworld, Victorian Plumbing.

I would strongly suggest not Victoria plumb. Poor quality and poor customer service.

Grohe and German companies are good. Tbh I think things like the sink, bath, loo and shower tray don't really matter how "good" they are because they are just big lumps of ceramic/plastic. I would spend money on good solid brass taps and shower as those are the bits which could break or wear out.

Agree with you that as long as they're ceramic, you can only go so wrong... Although one of the issues I've read about the expensive recommended supplier was with warped shower trays which could lead to pooling water or flooding.

Hard to find taps with more than 3 year guarantee when I Google. I'll check German brands.

Has anyone used Victorian Plumbing? I think they acquired Victoria Plum

We used them for q radiator, and it was great.

We have just done our bathroom and used Vado for taps, shower etc. They all come with a 15 year guarantee
